2019 GT 350 Puddle Lamps

Did you get the mirror assemblies or just lamps? And, if just lamps, I guess you did the prep already to take only 5 minutes....otherwise, it takes only 5 minutes to replace a mirror assemblies on each side?

Only had to remove the existing lamp from the bottom of the mirror and replace with new. Plug and play if you already have the puddle lamps.

What are the part numbers to replace entire mirror housing left and right with cobra lamps ? I have a 16 GT350 . Do they fit the same ? Thanks , Wendy

You have to cut out the existing plastic on the bottom to install the light.

No harness at all so you have to run the wiring.

In order to get the wiring through the body you have to notch the body so the wires can fit through the hole as you can see in the first pictures.

It is lots of work.

Can the piece in your last two pics (the bottom piece that has to be cut) be ordered separately? Mine does not have any makings on it (at least not on the outside) to use as a template.
Also, do you have a write up, or is there a video on how to disassemble the mirror to do the cutting? The front cover was pretty easy to get off. Beyond that, I didn’t want to risk busting stuff.

My mirrors had markings and when I traced them they were way off. I ordered a new set of mirrors off eBay for 200 bucks. The reason they’re so cheap is because the advisement on the mirror is in Arabic. I’ll use my old mirrors so it’s no big deal. The mirrors I ordered come with the pony lights so it’ll be a quick swap. Unfortunately, you can’t order just the piece that has the cut out. You’ll have to order the complete mirror assembly.

Those mirrors are straight oem 2019 mirrors. They are $350 for a complete mirror with everything including the cobra lamps. I pretty sure the wiring harness is plug and play as it has a plug built in the harness to power the puddles.

I tried looking up the mirrors with the cobra puddle lamp but a few come up on Ford. Does anyone know the part number to the mirrors with the built in cobra lamp?

So I can 100% confirm that a 2019 GT350 mirror is plug and play to a 2018 GT350 . I got a really great deal on a pair of 19 mirrors off a wrecked gt350r the options on the mirror where blind spot , defrost and puddle lamps. I removed my 18 mirrors and also removed my caps and glass the 19 mirror needed caps. I than removed the 19 glass and unhooked the blind spot and defrost. Installed my glass and cap and put everything back together and it all works perfect.

I have a base car that had no puddle light at all, if I buy a factory mirror with a puddle light will it be plug and play or will I have to try and wire it in? Please let me know thank you

I can only confirm that it is plug and play on a 18.
I had no options on my mirrors , but figured I would try worst case I would have wired them in.

Interestingly, the ford parts site does not recognize that VIN. But I did manage to find the projector lamp.

do they fit on the 2016 GT350 and GT350R ??

Here is video. When the light turns off and fades away, it is perfectly smooth. Don't know why the video is showing something different.

Anyways, driver side will be done on Saturday.

can you please provide the part numbers for right and left - will the cobra lights fit on a 2016 GT350 / GT350R ?? I appreciate your assistance
