2019 EcoBoost won’t shift out of Park!

The car will not shift out of Park, it is an Automatic 2019 101A package. She is stuck in a parking lot now!!

Do the brake lights illuminate when you press the pedal?

Also, disconnect the negative terminal for 10 mins or so and reconnect it. See if it lets you shift at that point. If so, then drive it to the dealer and have them diagnose it.

Thanks for your reply. Yes I did have brake lights and we did a five-minute battery disconnect which did not fix it. Towed it to dealer today and seems it was a BCM failure. Getting the new part tomorrow which should hopefully fix this.
