You won’t be the first or the last.Ok… no great, I know but…. Anybody install a hitch for a bike rack? What’s good?
OP is looking for a hitch mounted rack, not one that attaches to the car itself. If I had to put a bike rack on my car, I’d make sure to talk to one of the reputable bike stores and find out wha rack is best and will reduce the likelihood of causing damage to my car. I just spoke to my daughter about this very thing a couple of days ago, after she put a cheap garage sale rack on her car and it scratched the paint. it’ll probably cost you $200-$300, but it’ll be money well spent to prevent damage to your car.

Not me, I’m in Miami. There are 3 of us that have DHG Bullitts within a 10 mile radius down here. Pretty cool to see…OP, do you by chance live or work in Sarasota? I was walking my dog this morning around 11:45 or so and I saw this Bullitt parked on Central Ave., a couple of blocks north of Fruitville. It had the JJZ 109 plate on the front. It’s the first one I’ve seen since I’ve been down here.
These look super cool… But they scare me more. I’d be afraid to go over 30mph for fear of suction cup failure. I’m sure they work very well, but I don’t think it’s for me.If you are open to suggestions other than a hitch mount rack, I would recommend a sea sucker rack. https://www.seasucker.com/
