Weird, I wonder what the cause is. The a10 wasn’t a huge decrease but what’s the point in developing a new efficient transmission if it is going to lose mileage? I’m really interested in seeing what caused the drop in the manual’s numbers. What changed between the 18 and 19 manual camaros to account for such a decrease? The only thing I can think of is that hideous front end. Maybe it’s less aerodynamic and adds a ton of drag to the front end since it’s at highway speeds.

The front end doesn’t look that much aerodynamic compared to the old one. You maybe right that the CD drag coefficient may have increased a bit. They literally copied Bumblebee design from the latest ( not upcoming) Transformers movie. Idiots. The other option maybe they changed the gearing for better acceleration which sacrifices mpg. Do we know the gear ratios for the manual and new 10 speed auto?

Moving the bow tie obviously caused it to be less aerodynamic along with adding to the fugly factor.
