I waited for both refreshes to make my desicion. I think both sides had bad refreshes. Admittedly the Mustang got hit with a nerf ugly stick while the Camaro got hit with a baseball bat with nails hammered through it. If the 2017 Mustang came with the a10, my decision would have been a lot harder to make.Love reading the comments on the Camaro re-fresh.....exactly like this forum when the 2018 Mustang came out!
Hideous! FUGLY! Fire the designer! What were they thinking! Glad I bought a 2018! Etc.
It will settle down just like on here.
I have no idea if this is something GM/Team Camaro focuses on, but I will tell you it is possible the real world numbers might be better. I only know a bit about the EPA MPG test, but can tell you it looks at a small operating window. Some manufacturers/program teams gamble and decide to focus on the real numbers that get reported, like in Consumers Report.I call BS. Just wait for the cars to get into the hands of the actual drivers and we will see much better numbers!
Moving the bow tie obviously caused it to be less aerodynamic along with adding to the fugly factor.Must have something to do with either more drag from the hideous redesign or more weight. Or both.
LOL!I call BS. Just wait for the cars to get into the hands of the actual drivers and we will see much better numbers!
You’ll have to ask the EPA, they conducted the tests. Are there any further informations how they got these numbers? Are they rounded? Then it could be 19.4 against 19.5 MPG.
