What on the bearings indicate that? (Actual question, trying to learn)
I had another guy look the pictures. If this is the top side of the rod then this would indicate excessive pressure downward due to detonation. Just what the pictures look like.

im curious as to how the sai li fel system works and what its limitations are? i've been considering either this sai li set up or the JN2NING fore triple pump setup that he offers with the fore hat.

Any idea why it appears so yellow and milky. Did coolant get in it?

With 50 miles on it should be crystal clear. Just like when it came out of the bottle.

We'll find out, we sent it off to blackstone labs for a full analysis so I'll post results once we get them back.

I noticed that to Rob. Usually that indicates water/coolant in the oil.

Blackstone is good. I use them for my boat's engines and transmissions.

Did you check the Whipple to make sure there are no leaks in the intercooler. Ingesting coolant under boost would really suck....or blow in this case. Plus that Whipple came from a car that was wrecked. Might be worth a pressure test....

We never checked it directly. The Whipple didn't show any signs of damage from the accident itself, only the filter housing. Coolant levels looked identical to the day that we dropped it off but anything is worth looking into at this point. We'll have plenty of time before it's ready to go back together

The intercooler looks well packed in the lid but only takes one crack due to movement inside the lid from a sudden stop. I would think if there is a leak when you pull the lid off the Whipple there will be coolant inside the housing. Maybe not a lot. Just a film will be an indicator.

We didn't notice anything when we were pulling it apart but haven't touched it or cleaned it off since so it should be easy enough to take a look back!

Used parts can be mixed bag....All I know is tha ethanol has destroyed my mower and pressure washer engines/carbs in as little as time you mentioned of 2-2.5 months of not being used.
E85 seems to really enjoy taking on H2O.

Hope you find the smoking gun

The oil that you drained looks gross, definitely a lot of water/coolant in it.
