I would definitely consider it for the right price. However, it's not good for a car to sit. Since that car has been sitting for about 3 years, I would want a really good deal. IMO the right price is similar to a 2018 with 3k-10k miles on it. You would get a longer warranty with this car, but it's also been sitting for way too long. I would worry about some rusting in the cylinders, etc.here is the question guys, would you buy a unsold new 2018 gt350?
Bob pretty much covered what I would have said.I just purchased my 2019 beginning of this month. Apparently it sat at the dear for 1 1/2 years. When I inquired as to why, one of the internet salespeople told me they originally had it with an ADM of $10K. There was no way such a car would sell in Queens, NY at such a price.
The ADM was removed, and sold for a discount of $2500. They did say they would start it up occasionally, and move it around so it wouldn't be stationary for so long. It did have 74 miles on it. Because it sat for so long though, I did insist they change the oil in the car before I would take it.
For a 2018, that is now a car at least 2+ years idle. Inquire as to why it sat so long. And see if they started it and moved it around occasionally. Expect the battery to be dead also. And see how much of a discount they're willing to give.
Go for it if she checks all the boxes. This happened to alot of high optioned 17 and 18 corvettes. Too much supply and little demand. You have to get a great deal though. I would expect at least 5% to 10% off sticker or more otherwise walk away. Car is now 3 years old and even though you have warranty it has set a long time.here is the question guys, would you buy a unsold new 2018 gt350?
