2018 Shaker Pro (12 Speaker) Door Speaker Question

Hi, I have the 12 speaker Shaker Pro in my 2018. While it is far from stellar, my main issue is the distortion from the 6.5" front door mids.

My question is if anyone has added bass blockers to them to raise the crossover point to 120hz vs what I assume is 80hz. Or even adding some type of resistor to just slightly dial back the output to keep it clean.

This is a convertible, so at highway speeds I have to keep the volume up around 23-25 to hear music, but on some songs with tight bass, the door mids start distorting a bit.

I can tell you it's not the lower speakers that are the problem. It's the amplifier clipping at that volume level. Not much you can do about that without replacing the OEM amp with a more capable one.
