Why bias ply? Car will be quicker on a radial.

Fair question. I think for a few reasons:

• I'm familiar with running slicks and bias ply, so there's a comfort level
• It will still wrinkle and hook better than a radial
• They weigh almost 5 lbs less each vs radial version
• They are nearly $100 cheaper each with a discount code

I'm ok losing a couple MPH to grab the faster ET with more consistency.

I agree car will be faster on a radial. why wouldn't you get a bias up front also since you bought them for the rear? wrinkling a tire doesnt mean you are hooking better btw, bias is old school and better for manual car. radials ftw

You will be quicker and faster with a radial over the tire you have, but if u are more comfortable with the bias ply then so be it.

Tires are here. Loaded it all up in the truck, hoping to get it all mounted up tmrw but the work day is looking ridiculous. We'll see.

"flow form" which is cast aluminum. Dropped them off to get mounted. Pick them up tmrw and off to cars and coffee MN Saturday morning.

It rained at cars and coffee, we made it about an hour before the rain came in heavy and we left. There was eventually nearly a whole line of Mustangs which was great. No pic tho..
