Figured it's time to retire the $5 tj maxx phone clip I was using to hold my ngauge. Ordered joleobee's vent mount. Hunting down a rear view mirror that bolts to the roll cage vs hanging from the Optic Armor windshield.

Hopefully you have better luck with that mount than me. Every time my car hooked or maybe in the 1-2 shift, my NGauge would fly out of the dash. I recently put one in from Jonathons Performance that uses screws to hold it in. Bitch ain’t going nowhere now

I did not and I’m sure I could have use RTV or adhesive to hold it in, but thought this would be the better option

Got a template for the windshield braces done. I'll make two final copies and get them installed. I have countersunk rivets for the top flange to prevent windshield interference and will rivet bottom into dash. Decided not to drill and bolt through windshield due to cracking/spidering risk. Also got the trim piece from the bottom of the factory windshield that meets the cowl cover removed in order to install on the Optic Armor windshield. Need to decide on the best glue/adhesive to attach the trim to the polycarbonate. After these two tasks are done, the windshield can go in.

The magnetic Joleobee ngauge mount seems very promising:

Spent time with the windshield braces. I am not going to go with them. Taking a chance on the 1/4" optic armor windshield being ok as is. Wish me luck. Looking for someone to put it in.

Plan:

• If head unit sells, replace with f1a-94
• If whole procharger kit sells, going turbo
• Sell seat and go with a wider one
• Replace drag pack with beadlocks

Id love to hear your opinion once you get the car out and about on the glass. Noise/vibration etc. Ive heard rumors that it stains yellowish after sometime, could be from cleaning or sun, I don't know.
