@bauern , do you know if they still back ordered ?
whatever I can do to make the new motor last .🥴
I didn't know they were back ordered, I received mine earlier this year from Capaldi Racing.
The predator pump KR3Z8501A seems to be in stock but costs more. Motorcraft PW626 is the same pump.

It could equalize a pressure differential between banks, but id bet the pass side (cyl 1-4) has more resistance to flow due to heater core versus driver side head outlet dump straight into the thermostat housing.

The 170 stat and lower fan on temp def helps. I just did the PP radiator and normal driving head temps hover about 185 in 90deg ambient.
The pass side line to the heater also has a 5/16" restrictor in it.

I was able to put an order in for the ARP crank stud, trans fluid, and flex plate bolts.

Anyone have an 8-rib 4.88" procharger pulley collecting dust?

Thanks to Walter for the 4.88" pulley. Today I got in the new ATI flexplate bolts and the transmission fluid.

After dinner I decided to pull the parts I bagged and stored to sort them out. They're officially all over the garage in organized chaos.

Got the flexplate torqued on.

DI pump and hard lines on.

The Procharger t-stat housing and the 170* thermostat.

And finally the coolant elbow for the plazmaman intake manifold.

Just here and there progress.

More progress tonight.

Pulled out the wiper motor and assembly. My pal insisted that I remove the washer fluid reservoir..so I finished the job and removed the rest of the system. It's been over a year since I had wipers and arms on the car.

Steering rack, ac, alternator, plugs changed, coils installed, wiring done (minus starter and radiator fan), grounds are connected, Procharger bracket, water pump pulley, front pulley assembly (minus swapping the crank pulley - need to mic the crank and order a hub. ATI said couple day turn time). It's getting pretty exciting. It won't be the beast it was for a bit, but more than gracious to have it run at all.

To get to step 10 you start with step 1. Sometimes you need to start over and learn a lesson.

Trans is next but for another day.

Kinetic crank stud arrived.

PXL_20210709_154706433.jpg

Here it is against an ARP crank bolt.

PXL_20210709_162111626.jpg

It has less crank side threads, slightly longer overall. Also has a larger diameter. I've got to look a little more into that. I test fit it for two secs on my spare crank and it didn't slide in easily, I had to force it. Hoping it threads up properly. Will check after work.

Fitment will take a few hrs. In and out, on and out. Meant to fit tight AF.

You need a nice 4mm allen socket on a 3/8 ratchet, red scotch Brite for the stud shank and lube for the thread. Im and out till she fits.

Pro tip: Use the washer from the arp bolt kit with the stud instead of the provided washer. The bolt kit washer is larger in diameter and a much better piece to use with the ATI balancer.

Just sucks a little you have to use an ATI with that for us procharger guys. That's what the site says anyhow.
