The wife and I drove "home" to WV/OH from MN to visit family in March and on the drive back to MN, we made a detour to a Ford dealer in Northern Ohio to look at this car. We ended up purchasing and then driving it back to MN to put it into the garage since there was still snow on the ground.

Now that the snow is gone, it's modding season!

First things first, a wash!

Then, I needed a front plate to be legal in the state:

Since we opted for the A10, something I have NEVER done before, the wife can drive it:

Next was to actually get serious about this. So I talked with Beefcake who set me straight with a Procharger. Be sure to connect with Beefcake for whatever you're after. I hear he's a man that can get things!!

Car has just over 1000 miles on it. Still has the sticker on the engine cover:

Next was to inventory the shipment to ensure I had what I needed:

Then the difficult decision to tear apart a brand new car, it was easy to do with that blower sitting there:

Maiden voyage went well:

Changed out the plugs to 6510 NGKs and put the engine cover back on to finish the project:

Not pictured, but I used a $5 phone clip to mount the nGauge to one of the a/c vents. This has been working well.

Engine build date for reference:

Took it to work and parked near a friend's 2SS 1LE:

That brings you up to Monday this week. This morning I placed an order for a Krona Performance Catback that I am very excited to get and add to the car. Krona has stellar customer service, Team Beefcake does as well. Two companies that have their ducks in a row!

As they say, more to come!

Awesome build so far man, easy 10sec dd. You got the fastest most bestest color to:cheers:
Are you gonna set her up as a strip only or good all around type of dd?
What factory options are on it?
Haha, went out of my way to get this color. This was the only one that I saw even remotely close that was royal crimson, A10, and a base.

I plan to keep it good for street driving, but thankfully I have another vehicle to DD so I can eventually get this setup for the strip specifically.

Mind sharing what you paid? Be careful the wife doesn't try and steal it from ya:D

She has no problem jumping in the driver seat! :headbang: I paid $33k right before the incentives improved by $500. I purchased and then on Monday the incentive improved, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but at the end of the day I got the car I wanted.

Does the base have drag mode?
No, there's no need. Everything can be programmed aftermarket or the car has it (like line lock). I'll be doing the normal BMR setup for suspension. Springs, Vikings, cradle lock out, etc.. The only help I would get from drag mode is the magnaride control, but I have no magnaride.

Tuning with HP Tuners Ngauge. Went with procharger because of the ease of install, product support, and that there wasn't a disclaimer on page one about ruining the head unit if the car is fired up in cold conditions like the competition. I live in MN so cold weather is easy to find.
