First of all, if you haven't been over to see @80FoxCoupe and his 8 second slip during the summer heat, you need to go his thread and catch up. While you are there, thank him for me since he helped me get this crank support setup tonight.

You can do this install with removing nothing. I didn't remove the fans, the under tray, or any charge pipes. Not saying this is faster, just what I did. I got this done in a couple hours with text support from 80FoxCoupe.

First, get your tunes going. Some Chris Stapleton on pandora:

Get your car jacked up, you will want to do some work from the bottom and the top:

Remove your procharger belt:

Remove the procharger idler pulley:

Break the 3 bolts loose that are holding the stage 2 procharger pulley to the crank:

Remove the 3 bolts and pull out the pulley:

Comparing the 15-17 8" pulley (removed) and the 18 7.65" pulley (installed), you can see the machining that is needed to run the crank support:

Use the ATI 12pt bolts to connect the AC drive pulley to the ATI damper, loosely:

Test fit the machined stage 2 procharger crank pulley. If all good, remove the pulley and torque the AC pulley bolts:

Remove the two bolts near the A/C compressor in prep for the support bracket:

From under the car, loosen and remove the bolt from under the tensioner to prepare for support install. Install the small adapter that will be used later, leave it loose:

Test fit the bolts into the bracket before moving any further. The side plate and the main support fit together, but the bolt holes were offset. The main support needed to be drilled out to allow the bolts to slide through. You don't want to get stuck further along or cross thread a bolt trying to force something. I drilled out the bracket and it was all good:

Use the provided shorter bolts to install the mandrel and new machined pulley onto the damper. Torque it down:

Slip the belt on before attempting to put on the support bracket:

Now, there's no easy way to say this, but you'll just have to play around with the crank support bracket and the long bolts to get them to slide through. Here's what I did:

Slide the bracket with no bolts in it down into roughly the proper position. The side plate has dowels that fit into the main support bracket that will hold the two pieces together without hardware. Tuck the side plate in the middle of the A/C belt to hold the whole deal so you can let go of it.

I then went under the car and used this position to ensure the support was square to the mandrel to place it on and slide it fully onto the mandrel. I did this first to gauge how hard it would be later. You have good control of the weight and bracket from below, a hand on either side. That's my recommendation.

After test fitting the bracket on the mandrel, I slid it back off. You then swivel and lean it one way or the other to get the 4 bolts thru the bracket to prep you for bolting it down.

Don't forget to use the appropriate spacers in the proper positions and the idler pulley. Loosely, hand thread the bolts:

Go back under the car and ensure the support evenly slides on the mandrel. Go back up top and work around the bracket to evenly tighten it down:

Once tight, don't forget to tighten down the adapter that is below the tensioner:

Install your procharger belt fully. Give everything a once over, and fire it up!

Dyno rental is scheduled. Tuesday 8/04 at 9a. It's about 90 mins away tho :( If it rains, I'm shit out of luck.
