It would be a wasted feature for me. Now matter how many times I say I am not modding the exhaust system.... I do it.

Looking forward to seeing a Corsa active system that integrates with this :headbang::cheers:
^^^^ This.

As soon as an aftermarket active exhaust comes out the people who purchased this option are going to cry because they'll feel the need to pony up more dollars to replace something they already spent $900 on. I guarantee the aftermarket will have an exhaust with quiet mode as well as one that sounds 10 times better than a stock exhaust.

Wow that is so cool. I am trading in my 2017 Ford Mustang GT tomorrow !!!!

NO NOT REALLY !

That video only proves why we Mustang owners have to have a loud exhaust !
Because guess what, your neighbor is not going to have ...

1. A Quiet Toy
2. Ban Band Practice
3. Stop Home Improvements
4. A Good Quiet Dog
5. Late Afternoon Yard Work

:(
I have aftermarket exhaust, play drums and guitar, and I never cut grass until 8pm..LOL

The "quiet" mode on that would probably just mean "You are now deaf, enjoy not hearing for the rest of your life."
Clearly you've never been inside an S550 with one of these.

Aftermarket won't...

- integrate with OEM tactile controls
- integrate with dash/possibly memory profile settings.

Don't think anyone will be crying about that loss of functionality.

If anything, you will NEED the optional exhaust to use the aftermarket hardware in order to have OEM usability.

Not for me but I am a ass!:D
Probably not for me for the opposite reason. :D

Very good idea for people who like "loud" but I like "quiet" for neighbors, stealth, and conversation. Most autocross sites require "quiet". I won't track the car. Any HP gain will be irrelevant with 460 HP. :D

FYI it looks like it will work without needing the digital dash.

On Mustang GT equipped with the available all-digital 12-inch instrument cluster, the exhaust mode menu appears within the pony menu. With the standard 4-inch cluster, exhaust mode is found within the settings menu.

I can see Roush making a kit that will function with it.

Found this online, more advanced than what the GT350 does

Is it just me or did the "normal" mode, at 0:19, sound like a dirt bike? I miss the rumble of the V-8 from the 01-04 with Flow-Masters.

I like the active exhaust option but I love the sound of my car when I crank it up.

Thanks to all of you for PEER PRESSURING ME INTO SPENDING MORE MONEY!!!! I wasn't going to get this feature, but with all the positive comments, subsequent rationalizing, and a savings of about $50 with X Plan, I just might add it in. Hoping to order from overseas in a few days...will post paperwork when signed.

Is going from quiet mode straight to track mode like pushing a nitrous button?
