Well sounds like Twin Turbo got his wish today for new pics. The convertible pictures give us another look at the new tri-bars. I can't tell anything else new though.

Today is a big day for Mustang spy photos. In addition to a Stang with a bizarre hood bulge, we also have a glimpse of the next convertible. Unfortunately in the case of these images, Ford has once again been thorough in its application of camouflage. As a result, there's very little we can tell about the updated model. It does appear that the grille opening is positioned a bit lower than the current model, but that's the most we can see. Whatever changes have been made, they won't be particularly major, though they're still clearly significant enough that Ford wants them well under wraps.

A couple other things to note about the convertible pictures. Wheel design looks new to me, and tail lights look smaller. Really wish the photographer had a higher vantage point so we could finally get a peek at the interior.

It looks like the lower grille opening may have a center divider. You can see vertical camo dots behind the bumper mask.

Image two would look great. Very aggressive, and very Mustang GT. What is interesting is neither have the full leading edge to cowl line like the Shelby.

Does the radio antenna at the rear right look smaller or is that just because of the angle?

The hood is flat, no more ribs.

What reason do they have for the recent caps over the center of the front hubs? I've been thinking AWD for a long time and this fuels my conspiracy theory, slightly ;) Usually, when there is no center cap on the wheel, you just see the splined hub...it's a hole. Here..and on a few other mules, there is a cap, that I've never seen before.
