2018 gt350 production numbers?

Has anyone heard any rumors about the 2018 gt350's numbers being reduced for the 17'/18' model year? I came across this from a dealer nearby yesterday???

When we were talking, the new 18' "GT" will be upgraded, more track capable, 10spd auto? and whatever other upgrades it may have, will steal some of that GT350's thunder if you will.

It's certainly plausible, with the GT being much improved and availble at a 10-12K less MSRP. Also, if that 18'/19' GT500 shows up,, the GT350 will in all likelihood disappear for a few years.

Again, is what he heard valid? Just spitballin' here

I think when this run is done so will the GT350 name. They can use a name they don't have to license for their next track focused car... Mach 1 or another Boss or just go back to calling it a straight up Cobra.

Not sure where you got those numbers but going by memory those numbers do not look accurate to me.
