Curious why the second pull was 1k rpm higher? Nice numbers regardless.

No upgraded cooler. Everything that came with the stage 2 whipple kit is what we have. Of course, the other ancillary items I mentioned in the mod list, which aren't power adders, are on as well. I'll be taking it to the drag strip on August 4, 2018. I'll post those numbers up later. I'm expecting 10.2 - 10.5 int he 1/4, unless I need a driver mod :)

Seems that once you do the whipple upgrades you are at the price of a nice turbo kit. This is why I went with the Vortech. Did I make a mistake?

Not if that is what you prefer. You can't go wrong with the majority of these platforms.

Correct. Lund did the tuning.
Question for ya... With the Lund tuning, do you still have the Flight Control ability to turn the power down by gear? How were your drive modes affected?

No, you need the Whippe cal for flight controls.

I got a cal update yesterday, loaded it, and drove it to work today. Trans calibration seems to be improved. I just hope it doesn't "learn" any nasty habits.

picked my car up on Wednesday, has some slight bucking or surging at very light throttle, and cruise control doesn't work yet, probabaly get a aftermarket tune before winter

I get the light throttle surging and non-functional cruise as well, but I wouldn't give up on the whipple cal just yet. Early adopters typically go through a few cal updates. I got an early 2015 and they eventually got it perfect, aside from the high idle speed (pet peeve of mine). Also, an aftermarket tuner probably won't be able to fix the cruise.
