Hi
I've got set of Toyo g3ice 255/40r19 snow tires and a 275/40/r19 for the rear. My oem 2014 19inch wheel I bought hit brake calipers I can put a spacer the front and miss the calipers but wow is it still close.
So I've found a great deal on a new set of niche Gemma wheels 19 by 8.5 for a set. I'm just curious does anyone see having a issue with having a 275 on a 8.5 wheel??
There's also a set of niche misano wheels that are a 200 dollars more but like new that are staggered. wheels.

The cars going to be drive on the nice winter days and drive my dad truck the worse snow days...
Thoughts or opinions??

275 is awfully wide for an 8.5. Too bad you don't have 4 255 snow tires for the Niche wheels. Narrower is better in the snow, anyway.

You can buy a full set of 9.5's for $600 (or staggered if you want). 275 on 8.5 is nuts.

Here is the chart as to what fits what size rims that I use:

Tire Width to Rim Width chart.jpg

275 should not go on anything smaller than a 9.5" rim.

Of course these are just standard recommendations. Sometimes with larger sidewalls you can get away with more.

one thing to think about is having too narrow a rim on too wide a tire could have the sidewalls be flexible and it will affect handling.
