So while my vehicle is in the shop after getting run into by a hippy in a Subaru driving down the shoulder of the road causing 4500 worth of damage to my car ...they have me a 17 EcoBoost to drive

Why oh why Ford did you reverse the steering wheel controls!! How many times will I change the gauges instead of the volume??

As far as the cars... was getting 21.5 mpg in the 18 gt ..getting 26.5 in the EcoBoost

No v8 sounds but turbo noises are cool with the windows down. Could definitely use some shorter gears in the rear end though.

Overall not a bad car...even chirps the tires into 2nd afyer I filled up with 91 octane and the computer adjusted. Even with the old 6a I can see how others would enjoy driving this car.

33k miles on it ...rental car miles...no creaks or rattles car has held up well.

Will do some 0 to 60 tests this weekend since #notmytires

Not having had a '17, I'm glad they switched the steering wheel controls - volume on the left seems more standard.

Assuming you didn't have a PP car, the PP gives you the 3.55 rear end. You definitely pay for it at the pump. I get 26-27 on the freeway but traffic or fun time gets that down in the lower 20s pretty easily.

Yep my PP gets about that, it's amazing the difference in mileage from a PP to non PP.

Every car I've had with steering wheel controls had the volume on the right. The display for my car is in front of me and my radio is to the right, why would the steering wheel controls be the opposite of that :p

I don't know where you're getting at that. I've got an Ecoboost PP (6MT) and I regularly get a hair under 30 MPG, granted my commute to work is almost all freeways... :headbang:

Oregon is a "55 and alive" state. I'd say I'm doing 65 most of the time with a little 75 cruising thrown in for good measure (I do get about 5 miles of a 65 MPH zone...)

15 PP here. If I drive conservative (60-70mph) light acceleration, I get 30-33MPG highway roundtrip.

City driving is different though. At most I get is 18-20 with conservative, and 15-18 normal driving.

I like the change...right hand should be free to change gears if necessary.

Yeah, continuous cruise at 80 on flat ground and calm winds probably hits 28. Dealing with traffic and conditions eats away at it from there.

Wow, I've never gotten under 20, even driving in Portland (which is S-L-O-W going...). And that's having occasional fun with another car at lights ;)
