I dont believe that is the case. 2018 got a suspension calibration refresh according to multiple sources. Should make it more desirable

Can you provide the distance between holes on the lower part of the rear shocks. ( where bolts to the lower arm)
my '18 magneride rear shocks are longer that the 17 rear shocks I bought.
( im planning to change to PP shocks. long story)
