Hey everyone - I've been reading several different things regarding boost, and fueling with the gen 3 coyote.

Some websites said the stock fuel system with DI and PI can support 700whp on 93.

Some say under 600whp without a BAP. Can someone elaborate for me?

I'm thinking about a Procharger, and not going for record dyno numbers, just 650whp thoughts on this?

I have pretty much same question hope someone answers quickly lol I’m in process of installing a gen 5 Whipple stage 2 kit custom tuned and seriously thinking of just doing the GT350 return style fuel system with baps on both pumps and that way there’s room to grow also. ?? Any taught appreciated

I had that setup and it was done at a little over 800 wheel

hx for info greatly appreciated I’ve just purchased a set of ID1050X injectors that should be fine. I’m only looking to make roughly 750-800 whp think I’ll be ok.

I would say on e85 750 is pushing the limits of that setup. I dyno’d 820 with it but on the street logging a fourth gear pull at 7800 rpm I had 15 psi of fuel pressure

for e85 we really recommend a fuel system. your spending allthis $ on car, blower, etc... power is air and fuel. give her what she needs

I seen your fuel system upgrade using the walbro pumps. I’m curious as to how the fuel gets from the passenger side tank when you deleted the Venturi style pumps?

That’s an excellent question. So when I put it together I was concerned that it wouldn’t siphon. It was pretty much an experiment, and to my surprise it works just fine. I think it’s because of how the lower portion of the pump module is relatively sealed around the suction side of the pumps. It definitely works though

I just picked up a 19’ and future plans are FI. I kept thinking “why doesn’t anyone run 2 walbros?” They’re cost effective and proven. Then I was reading about the s550 needing a Venturi pump or hat setup. Your fueling setup is what I plan duplicate in the future.

Very good info!

glad you got something out of it. It’s a budget fuel system that works. I hold 60-70 psi until redline now and I’m pretty sure I still have room to grow

So wait - if I'm looking to stay at 600whp I need to run E85?

Also, the factory fuel system wont support 600whp?

What are the stock injectors capable of?

I ran a DW400 drop in pump, BAP, and 1050x injectors on e85 with my Procharged 2018. I felt like I was really pushing my luck so I went to a Fore triple system when I turned up the boost. On 93 and low boost I am sure it would work great BUT I agree that a good fuel system is money well spent and is a must for boosted applications.

600-650 wheel on 93 with BAP (Stock injectors DI, Stock Injectors PI)
You have to have to have to have the BAP.

The GT350's don't have to, because they run the twin pump set up.

You have to have to have to have the BAP.

The GT350's don't have to, because they run the twin pump set up.
When I received my stage2 kit in December 2019 it did not include a BAP even though it was advertised on procharger.com and teambeefcake.com as being included. I was told by procharger tech support and even had it verified by your engineering department that a BAP was no longer included with the kit and determined to be unnecessary. I insisted one be sent and thankfully it was. The car never achieved anywhere near the power gains claimed by procharger. I gave up and had the car tuned by Lund. The BAP was required, I also swapped to 1050 injectors at their recommendation. Car now makes the power that was only a pipe dream on the procharger tune without a BAP. Just happy I didn't blow the engine.

So what is the deal Erik. Is a BAP required based on your post here?
