2017 Mustang GT4 ready for Daytona

While we wait for the 18' refresh, check out the Mustang GT4 in all its glory testing in Daytona over the weekend. Looks like a great follow up car to the Ford Shelby GT350R-C 2016 winner.

Really excited for this season, new rules new competition! I cant wait to see this in person, racing at the Long Beach GP in April. :cheers:

Interesting that it's got a GT350 badge on the side and a red R Cobra on the grille.......the show car at SEMA had neither, and wasn't badged as a Shelby at all.

Probably because it started life, at some point, as a 350R-C

Not sure how the Balance of Performance works with GT4, as it is an international class and the rules are governed by the SRO. Maybe IMSA can make "local" adjustments?

That looks like the same car they ran last year at Daytona. I have a pic of it with that same dent in the same spot from 2016. Unless thats an aero mod for Daytona.
