maybe for kids who live at home with their parents and work at the cell phone kiosk in the mall from 4pm-9pm every Tuesday and Thursday. For grown folk who own houses and have careers and can lose everything doing something like street racing into the triple digits, well we're satisfied with little bursts to 60 MPH. The Corvette guy did the respectable thing. He had some spirited fun and let off which shows maturity and restraint. Some kid decides to keep blasting down the road long after it was more than obvious that the run was over and you applaud that? And believe me I've seen these 10 pm racers. They aren't people I would want anything to do with anyway. 15 minutes and all you're hear is 20 doods yelling "hey bro", "nah bro", "yo, yo, yo bro", "come on bro", "let's race bro", "your car is whack bro", "hey look at my cap on backwards bro". You are right they are not future doctors, lawyers or business owners. They are already doctors, lawyers or business owners. And believe me a lot of lawyers and business owners do plenty of illegal shit. All those guys I see racing and or doing highway pulls in 6 figure cars EVERY summer weekend are kids working at phone kiosk? Nope
