Got a chance to see lightning blue in person the other day at the local dealership. Unfortunately it was sitting in the showroom so I couldn't see it natural light but it is an interesting color. I would need to see it out in the sunlight to see if I really liked it or not though.

After all the blue-purples Ford has put out lately (Deep Impact on a ton of models, Performance Blue on Focus,) it's nice to see a "blue" blue.

I'd still get my yellow if I did it over again, but for 17 Grabber would be 2nd choice and Lightning 3rd, vs DIB as my last choice for 16.

I'd get a Lighting Blue if I were getting a '17 -- I actually like the purple hues of DIB though -- I still like it more than Lighting, I think. With relatively fewer Guard (I thought this was my first choice at first) cars out there, sometimes I wish I'd gone with that -- but nah...
