I agree, I had kind of thought Shelby as a brand had been watered down and convoluted a bit as of late, I for one thought this car however was a perfect fit, I think in this instance more ford branding is not necessary or desired above what is currently there. I thought it was a pretty balanced and effective launch / campaign. Aside form trans cooler issue I think the entire team knocked it out of the park.

You don’t want to know
Anyone price out the original Shelby kick-plates? How hard to swap out.
Hey, use your super powers to scan this whole thread. :D

See message #49. And the answer to your other question is "double-stick tape."

Didn't read the whole thread. Maybe someone mentioned the obvious fact that Ford is trying to emphasize and push the FORD PERFORMANCE image and slowly erasing Shelby's with this MY. I guess we will see more of that in the upcoming models.

IMO, after the 12 FP models by 2020, Shelby (by Ford) will be history.
Agree. Whatever we think the next "GT500" is, the name of it probably won't be anything related to Shelby.

Don't Like the door step at all. I do think the 15 will be the most sought after of the bunch. Just obvious to me. I doubt the 16 will anymore valuable then the 17 or visa versa but I would be happy to have the 16 be worth more :)
