Question for 2017/18 GT350 owners:
- Do they Come with APP link (can you mirror your iPhone into the screen)? This is specific for the Sync 3 tech package
- Do they have illuminated door sills and cup holders like the newer mustangs?
- Do they have the mirror projection lamps?
- Can we change dash illumination colors?

I searched and could not find that information anywhere about these cars.

For my 2016 which had basic Sync and the nice small LCD screen and big radio buttons (which I loved) the answer would be NO to all questions... someone with a Sync3 will dime in for sure.
But I am scratching my head on why would you need any of that stuff... I mean apart from red dash color, which makes it much faster?

Yes. Perfect!
Since you have a 2017, does your door sills and cup holder illuminates? And 2017 already comes with the projected led lights under the side mirrors?

“New colors for the 2019 Mustang Shelby GT350 include Velocity Blue and for the first time, Ford Performance Blue. Optional factory-painted over-the-top racing stripes are available in high-gloss Shadow Black, Oxford White or Kona Blue. Mirror-mounted Shelby Cobra Projection Lamps come standard in the available Technology Package”

Guess only the 2019 version comes with projection lamps.

Mine came with the Standard non illuminated Ford performance door sills, no puddle lamps, and no cup holder illumination

GT350's do not come equipped with lighted door sill plates or cup holders. Was not offered as an option.

Pretty sure you are decided already on the PP2. The picture of the blue one you have looks very nice. The digital dash and other things are very nice to have also. Plus I have had 3 5.0 and never had any issues with tranny.

Actually I placed a deposit to hold the Gt350 while I cancel it out the PP2 contract. If everything goes as planned I should get the Shelby. You guys beat me to it!!

Good luck with whatever you get. Make sure get a Carfax and autocheck report. Also check all the history with another dealer to see if everything checks out.

A loaded pp2 vs 350gt is around 10-15k difference, not even 20k... also there are tons of brand new 2018 350gt at dealers with prices around 55k brand new. so more like 5-8k more than a 2019 pp2.
i got my 18 for 54 OTD in may before the '19s were released.

Yes, thanks. Car is Ford Certified one owner 8k miles 1 yr old car. Pretty much brand new with the extended warranty and its at the same dealership that originally sold the car. Everything seems pretty clean with this one.

I was looking at GTs PP1 or 2 when a used 2017 GT350 popped up at my local dealer and after much gnashing of teeth I got it. I considered slightly used as a plus, as I had them print the OASIS and there were no reports of anything other than standard service. Previous owner was my daughters dentist. I don't have extended driving time in a regular GT (although I got one as a rental once). Here are some pros and cons as I see them - I think the base Recaros in the 350 are more comfortable, but entry exit is more difficult. If you are much bigger than me (6' 185) they will be quite snug. I found base leather (400A) not to be super comfortable on a long drive. Driveway scraping in the 350 is super annoying. You learn to deal with it, but people will think you are a dork when you zig to take every dip at an angle. Not an issue in a GT, but the PP2 probably isn't a lot better. Ride in the regular GT is noticeably softer (subjectively good or bad) but I suspect the PP2 is probably as stiff as the 350, particularly with the 30 tires. The 350 doesn't have some of the fluff you get in a 401A package, but I have never once found myself looking at the cupholders and wishing they were lit. Transmission is better in the 350 even if you never track it. The VooDoo does generate some NVH. I don't really notice it driving but it seems too lead to more cabin rattles (the GT will get these too in time). Sample size one, so take that for what it's worth. The 350 looks better (subjective). Front and rear fenders are wider compared to a GT and I really like the 350 hood and front fenders. To me, the looks were important. You want a Mustang because they are cool cars, and the 350 is the slightly cooler looking one. Every vent grill on the 350 is functional (even if several look bigger than they really are). Both have Sync 3, which I find quite nice. Price wise, I paid about what the MSRP would be for a GT configured as I wanted.
