2017 GT350 “Swing” upgrade

Ok so the prices go from $175 to close to $600 bucks. Anyone know the difference? Build quality?

This is the Ford Performance Swing, so OEM quality, fit, etc. Uses factory holes in the decklid and uses both 3M tape and bolts to hold it.

Some of the lower priced options are replicas and some are only held on my 3M tape. Paint quality, fitment, etc can be hit and miss. I go with Ford/Ford Performance parts whenever possible just for the quality and fitment

Also, don’t underestimate the free shipping from LMR. The Swing comes in 2 very large boxes (spoiler in one box, gurney flap in the other) and some of the shipping charges can get high due to the size. Both pieces come very well protected too, wrapped in plastic, the ends wrapped in foam and seated in foam within the boxes. I put the Ford Performance Swing on my car and very happy with it. Buy once cry once

Awesome, the gurney flap comes off real easy. This one is the one I had on my car originally I sold to a friend with a white GT. I then bought another (from Steeda) in gloss black and had color matched to my FJG Mach 1... Left gurney flap black... Its a nice piece and reasonable price...

This one is a cheap knock off. Get the Ford Performance one. @MAGS1 listed above. That is the one I have. VERY high quality piece..

Just curious, will this different spoiler on the 17 GT350, which it was not specifically designed for, affect handling (albeit probably not for most street driving circumstances)?

I wouldn’t think so considering FP put them on the last few years of the non-R’s. Would need to find if they changed the specs of the front splitter, front bar, etc. in conjunction with the change to the Swing, but I don’t believe they did. If I remember right, the 350’s that got the Swing did not have the gurney flap, same with the GT500’s unless you got the handling pack, then you got the gurney flap. Going totally off memory right now though, would need to go back and look at order guides to confirm the gurney flap stuff
