NEW UPDATE!!!
Update for those of you following this build.
I finally got the car up on jack stands.
I started by removing the bumper. It was actually much easier to remove that dreadful bolt in the bumper by removing the entire fender liner. I also found that my stock bumper had a crack in it.
I know for a fact that this didn't happen while I was pulling it off.
Me and CompO5.sl0w finished up our custom grill project. You can find the awesome write up he did here: http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47379
Excellent photos and a perfect write up from start to finish!!! :cheers:
I did notice that by using a wide bladed non-marring pry tool and a hammer I was able to beat the new grill into place. I started at each of the sides and got them clipped and then worked my way to the center, sometimes doing each clip a bit and then moving onto the next one.
I've taken off all the brakes and sent them out to the powdercoater with along with my IRS braces and G-Trac brace from Steeda. Hopefully I will get those back within the next week or so.
I get a little OCD while taking things apart. :lol:
And now the part I've been waiting to buy since I bought the car. Got this package on this past Saturday.
Got an AWESOME deal on a set of Forgestars CF10s 20x9.5 and 20x11 in Deep Concave from Need4SpeedMotors.
:eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge::eyebulge:
I'll be ordering the tires shortly, like in the next week or so. Nitto NT555 G2 up front with 275/35R20 and Nitto NT05R in 315/35/R20.
Here's how she's sitting right now.. :(:(:(
I got an email this morning about the Raxiom Smoked LED Side Markers. Called the wife and had her order right then and there. Get an email stating that they were shipped today so I'm hoping that they are here tomorrow.
I'll be posting more updates as I get more things installed. The rest of the Stop the Hop kit, Roush Winglets, Bob's Autosports Catch Can, and the Height Sensors for the Airlift Performance 3H Kit. :clap2::clap2::clap2:
