2016 Shelby GT350R South Bay Ford

Had to turn in my wifes 2014 Escape as the lease ended and she didn't want to have 3 cars no more. So now she's driving my FiST and my M3 is back to being a daily agian...looking for a good used car. However, look what was in the showroom, it was bought by the GM of the dealership and it isn't for sale...

Got to admit, I drooled over it.

One question though..whats with the ride height. Do they all sit this tall or did they forget to pull the shipping spacers out of the springs.

Yet still has the barriers all over the paint, which will still mess with the paint.

Honestly, any car sitting in a showroom should have that stuff around it if you aren't planning on letting people sit in it. It amazes me how many people at car shows will run their hands down the side of a car or let their purse/jacket buttons/clasps/zippers hit cars as they walk by. :frusty:

It is likely very much for sale. "Tell them they can't have it and they will fight over it". That has worked in the retail industry for decades, one of the oldest tricks in the book.

From my understanding the GM owns the car, he bought it.

This was according to the gentleman who helped me with my lease return.


At 100k Im getting something else.

Originally it was +$50k but there was too much interest.

I can't see anyone paying 107k for one, let alone 167k.

Simply amazing how cocky some of these punks who work in car dealerships can be. Sounds like the public was overwhelming their place of business with only a $50,000 rear ending. This tells you that these guys would hammer you at every possible juncture and opportunity. No one in their right mind would ever do business with grease balls like this.

When I say "he" I mean what I was told the GM was saying, not the internet sales manager.

The internet sales guy @ southbay is awesome, and I highly suggest working with him if possible.
