Build and Price is great. Much fun to play with. But there is just one problem - when I get all done with Building the perfect car the Price kills it! Building = fun; Price = buzz kill. Damn!

About time Ford posted the 2016 configurator! Here is my configuration. Don't have the funds for a GT350 through. Patience is a virtue.

Base GT350, Magnetic, Black/White Stripes, tech package. MSRP is just slightly over a base 2013/14 GT500: $56,670. Not bad.

Oh crap. That's sneaky. Those engineers... Never know what they'll come up with. Maybe they are getting enough air flow with the large R front splitter with the smaller grille opening but needed a larger opening on the GT350 with the smaller front splitter.

You are so.ooooooooooooooooooooo wrong this black roof is progress...If you like/love it, order it...it will add value in the long run...every evolution has an evolution and this is it....either evolve, or be a dinosaur, its up to you.

So much for there being a significant weight difference between the Tech and Track pack. Leaning back towards Tech again since my car will only see a few HPD events a year. I can add the Track Pack wing and brace down the road.

Look at the cutouts behind the grill..the R has a little more geometry to it vs the non-R cars.

I looked up some track pack cars and they dont have it, so its not for the coolers. So Mystic is likely right that it plays a role when paired with the R front splitter

Look directly to the right of the shelby emlem on the R you just posted and on the non-R right about it. The shape of the cutout behind the mesh

They even give curb weights for every gt350 with option packs. Nice. No guessing.

Anyone planning to aggressively track their GT350s get ready to spend some $$$. At just under 3800 lbs. and 526HP that car will shred brakes & tires. But you'll sure have fun doing it!!!!

I bet people are gonna be pissed that you can't get Recaro seats with the tech pack.
