Hi unfortunately my car has been In a pretty bad accident recently and when I try to start it it’ll fire up but die straight away I was wondering if anyone would know if the s550 has some sort of crash sensor which cuts power or fuel supply after an accident ?

Any images to post up to further help with the situation? Front, side or rear accident?

Air bags go off?

Any more details you can provide?

There's many factors as to why an S550 may not start after a "bad accident" and to diagnose or give advice, definitely need way more details about the damages.

Hi sorry I should have been a bit clear so yes the driver side knee airbag and steering wheel airbag did deploy it was a front end collision and needed a new radiator and bumper I used a cheap diagnostic tool to run a few codes and it came up a circuit problem for the fuel pressure regulator but the wires don’t seem to be damaged I first thought it’d might be some kind of crash sensor fuse which shuts off the fuel supply after an collision but had no luck in finding anything about it online

I'm pretty sure the 2nd gen coyotes are inferred fuel pressure. No real sensor.

The GT350's have one.

I think I'd look at the MAF sensor first

When the airbags deploy that automatically sends a signal to the computer that a major catastrophic event has happened. Many times in some vehicles this will cause the fuel pump to become inop. Safety feature, don’t know if Mustangs have that though.
