406hp to wheels on 91. Not bad. E85 it is!

That is what i was thinking too. Are you running on e85? I just dont want to get the tune when i know there are rarely any gas stations in phoenix that have e85 or even e54. Just feeling a bit stuck lol. I think headers is really my last ditch effort for power out here.Dont forget here in AZ we dont have real e85 for the most part its flex fuel ie e54. Still way better than our 91 and definitely worth the tune. As soon as you upgrade your injectors and tune for ff you'll be much happier.
I run a flex tune but am on the e54/flex fuel 99% of the time with only swapping in a tank of 91 every 3-4 months for lubrication reasons. However, if I were doing a road trip I would not be stuck and could just fill up with 91 if needed. Flex tune is your best bet so can utilize e when avail but can swap as needed. That is what i was thinking too. Are you running on e85? Because at 2500 to 3500 rpm most people are usually in traffic. If you want low/mid range grunt, use an E85 tune, not a truck manifold. Otherwise, these engines are made to rev out and the power band is all up top. 18 manifold and set rev limiter to 8100, shift at 7500-7600. It's glorious and pulls hard all the way up strong to that range and it's been proven to be the best overall with only the GT350 slightly edging it at the very top end.F-150 intake manifold, cat deletes, and a Flex Fuel tune will make a street car feel much more alive due to a noticeable torque increase in the usable RPM for a street car.
Yep, peeps like to poo-poo the F-150 manifold, but it will deliver a 25-40 ft/lbs increase across a huge RPM range that most street cars inhabit, and the '18 GT intake manifold only shines at high rpm. You need to ask yourself at what RPM range(s) do you drive your car the most? While I don't know about you, but my car spends much more time between 2,500 to 5,500 rpm than it does at 7500 rpm.
Food-for-thought...
85 would be amazing the next couple of months. Queue 100+ until mid to late October now lol. It’s getting warmer out folks. Cars are not as peppy in 85 degree air as 45 degree air.
Just funnel one of your AC vents into the air dam of your intake. Done! Cold air intake!85 would be amazing the next couple of months. Queue 100+ until mid to late October now lol.
Brilliant! Iat no higher than that of inside the cabinJust funnel one of your AC vents into the air dam of your intake. Done! Cold air intake!
