2016 Mustang GT Runs 9.87@143 With An MT-82 And A Edelbrock 2650 !

This weekend down at Atlanta, Georgia I finally got my 9 second pass. I ran a 9.87@143 with my Gen 1 (non modular inlet) Edelbrock 2650 Stage 2 kit on 13PSI and MT-82!! Cant wait to be able to run the 103MM TB.

I am so jealous of you and the other guys with 9 sec slips and sticks !
I spent the winter stocking on almost every combo of 15 inch/17 inch bias ply tires in preparation. Lol

On 15 inch wheels I now have 28 inch ET R bias ply,ET drag stiff, side wall .
I tried the 26 inch ET R’s and 27 inch Hoosier cheater slicks last year and they did not work with the new 4.10 gears .
Also have the 28 inch bracket pro (it’s a radial that works like a slick ) and ET pros I was saving for my Hellion caf

On 17 inch wheels I also have another pair of ET R bias ply, the wider M&H bias ply and my old Hoosier (they may be worn ).

My garage now looks like discount tire .lol

......but engine just just won’t cooperate and despite swapping heads/gaskets it’s still lifting on the dyno so I am afraid to run it .

I have a new motor I had built in preparation of Selling the car but I would be afraid to race it again after the swap . Going to see if I can retorque the heads before the motor gets swapped
