Some really nice welding and fabrication work going on there … :sunglasses:

Quick question - are you concerned about the heat that could be transferred into the chassis leg and if so, what’s your plans for dealing with it ?

Right now everything is clearing, I want the welds visible but if I have and heat issues I plan on wrapping and covering this areas. Right now I’ve seen no issues as of yet but I’m far from done, I’m sure there will be road blocks but I’ll post them as I encounter them…

I would want those welds visible too ! :sunglasses:

I was referring to this hot side chassis leg bracket :

Will that not transfer a ‘lot’ of heat directly into the frame ?

It’s around 8 inches from turbo to frame, lol we will see how hot it gets, if it’s to hot I’ll have to figure out another way to support the turbo, it’s around 40lbs

Whats more impressive to me is your pie cutting skills. I don't have the patients ( I know I spelled it wrong but I'm old) anymore, you would laugh at my exhaust. (I'm 60 +) If you love doing these things you will have a very prosperous life.

I am digging the build. Those 180* bends off the headers are going to be hottttt when the boost builds. Have you thought about replicating CGFab's turbo manifolds?

I’m going to build forward faceing headers next spring, when I pull motor out to put in sleeved block, it is just so much time to fabricate , I was going to build hot side with 2 1/2 inch stainless but went with 3 inch to help it flow thru the bends

You are good enough with the pie cuts you should make a set of true equal length headers. Then get them copied and make lots of money.

The power increase will get the racers to buy and the Ferrari exhaust sound will get the sound crowd.
