My car is as base as base gets. So upon my return to the States I have started adding the little flair items. Over the next few weeks it will progress into bigger installs starting with Clutch, Flywheel, Lightweight Driveshaft, Halfshafts, and Suspension upgrades.

The other day I knocked out upgrading to premium door panels. The driver side panel was damaged on shipment and needed some attention. I had to transplant the upper corner plastic piece from the old panel over to the new one. It was held in by two plastic nuts in an extremely tight space. No issues in swapping. The other issue was the molding clips broke on one side of the new panel. I solved this with some 3m exterior tape to hold it together for install. Too easy.

Note: if you do this install and do not have power seats already you have to swap the window switches and door handle molding piece with the power lock module from old panel to the new panel on the driver side. The wiring harnesses are not cross compatible in the DRIVER SIDE. Its an easy job of unclipping the modules and moving them over. I was able to recoup some of the cost of the door panels by separately selling the door modules from the premium door panels.

Just dropped her off for the clutch, flywheel, halfshafts, and swapping out my transmission mounts...hope there aren't any unforeseen issues. I hate not doing my own work, but with all my tools still traveling across the ocean I just want it done.

Well my date for the clutch, flywheel, halfshafts, and suspension all got pushed due to scheduling conflicts. Since I had the car around I went went ahead and did the premium dash install, premium leather wheel w/white stitching to match the new door panels, Tesla Radio, and my Snow Performance Water/Injection gauge in the center vent (not wired yet till the rest goes on). Tomorrow I will tackle the leather seats. That Telsa was not fun. I should have done the premium cluster when the dash was off but I didn't have time to do the programming....alas another time. Good luck with the build homie. Always interested when someone goes down the patch less traveled. I’ll be checking in to see how the turbo goes.

Finished my leather upgrade. I've done this twice before on my old mustangs and man what a pain in the ass everytime. And for some damn reason one bolt holding the passenger chair down was loctited to hell. Took forever to get thing to break loose. Then to because I was at it for hours I made a silly mistake and installed the wrong seat cushion on the driver side and didn't notice till I bolted the seat back into the car lol. Set me back another hour....oh well, nothing ever goes as planned!

Added the premium non-digtal gauge cluster. Now I got mycolor and the rpm gauge flashes red at RPM limit. However, there is two things I'll have to fix. I have to fix the perimeter warning sensors indicator through Forscan. Shows up briefly on startup. The other one I may not care about for now cause I'll have to send the cluster off. I have 1500 mile difference in odometer. Originally was told by seller it 22k (via a picture) and so I had less miles than the cluster and was going to add miles through forscan (only odometer change you can do in Forscan is add mileage). Well, turns out I have 1500 less lol. Honestly don't care right now (he did state it had less than 26k cause I asked thinking I had more miles than I really did), but my OCD may get to me and I'll have to change it up.

Okay, added the new blank deck lid and the cyclone black and chrome badge to match my custom made center caps (took some oem ones and attached them aftermarket wheel caps...dremel, epoxy, clamps). This way my black and chrome matches with the factory "running horse". I have a grille badge too, but I'll add that after I do the new grille.

Well, snag after snag in trying to get the transmission work completed, but finally got the clutch, flywheel, driveshaft, and half shafts completed...no photos but will have something to throw up from other portions of the project within a few days.

I did decide to pull the premium non-digital gauge out the car and I will be posting some updates to why and show the direction I decided to move too. It will be worth it.

Car is finally in the last phases of transmission and suspension work. Install should be completed by early next week. But with no car and too much time to think I am tinkering with the interior look again...yeah I know JUST installed new wheel, color matched the stitching, new gauge cluster, etc. Well, new steering wheel and the above gauge faces going in and swapping out the door sills with Ford Perfomance sills that color match the silver, black, and red theme.

Okay, a lot of work was going down today. Finished and buttoned up the rear end suspension work. Installed the new wheel and got the majority of the front end complete. Also, added some new turn signals from CJPP. Still need to install the spoiler, grille, vinyl, and chin spoiler...sooo much more to do lol.
