Add Do you want to drive long distance?It’s also worth mentioning the Gen 1 engines were different in regards to the R models versus non R models (cam phasers, etc) so failure rate comparison to then Gen 2 is problematic. I’ve just crossed 20,000 miles in my 2016 GT350R and fingers crossed, all is well
As previous stated, it really comes down to personal preference and usage. Do you need back seat ? Do you want heated/cooled seats ? Planning on track usage ? Do you want Carbon Fiber wheels ? I would start with that first when making a decision.
