Glad to be back in warmer FL... it was waaaay too cold in Chicago last week.

Although before flying out, I was able to squeeze a visit to the first open to public day at McCormick Place on Saturday.

Lots of cool cars but first here are the hot new Ford Performance vehicles!

If you're local, in town for a visit, or not too far away for a road trip... it's worth a visit to spend the whole day there.
This was my second time to see the Chicago Auto Show (first was in 2013) and I still enjoy going again... the nation's largest after all.

And the GT looks absolutely amazing in person.... some more including close up shots.

The GT is amazing.
Unlike many super cars with their over styled creases, sharps and folds the GT's design takes all of it and condenses it to a functionally beautiful form.

Another car I like is the all new NSX... the Ford GT is more exotic but then again we're talking about a likely ~250K delta.

I can't see $150k in that NSX... Must be under the skin.

That 350R in magnetic with the gold sheen under the lights is simply impressive. Glad I changed to that color now.

Thanks Boss...

Yeah the Magnetic R is stunning under the lights.... great color/stripe combo.

The NSX is styled much more conservative... I think it's trying to compete with the BMW i8 amongst others and it was benchmarked against the Ferrari 458 Italia. Still though, the Ford GT is in an echelon above... like Aventador jaw dropping.

Thanks for posting up some pics. I'm going in on Thursday of this week. A little disappointed they didn't have any 2017 colors and they had that same yellow 350 there last year, so to that I say "C'mon Ford".

I'll be headed there this weekend, great pics! I love the new Raptor, I don't care if it doesn't have a V8. Trucks to me can be more utilitarian in that matter. Would I prefer a V8? ...sure whatever, but I hardly think it ruins the vehicle.

I can't wait to see the GT in white in person. In photos it looks stunning but I want to see it up close.

I hear this year they just put another Mustang GT on the rollers? Kind of a shame they didn't have a 350. Although, that's probably way too loud.

Very nice pics . . lots of fun stuff to see.
Did you happen to stop by the Chicagoland Mustang Club booth?
My Mach 1, a 2001 Bullit and a very nice 1993 Cobra on display.

That was your Mach 1? Very nice! I was there is past Saturday and live in the city. We should connect sometime - I've been wanting to get involved with the Chicagoland Mustang Club. I'll PM you. :ford:
