Both my Visors on my 2015 Mustang Convertible V6 have broken off. This happened a week apart. I was just driving and my Visor just fell down hanging by the piece that links them together. I thought it was the clip that needed to be replaced but I was wrong. Now I'm being told that I have to replace the entire visor at $132 each! I'm getting ready to sell my Mustang for various reasons and I don't want to have to spend over $200 to replace these visors. I know that I can buy aftermarket ones for less but my question is, can I just glue the visor back on in the corner where it broke off? Has anyone else had this problem? I have only 32,000 miles on the car. Help!!!

Without a picture of where it broke it's hard to answer your question.
But ebay has a complete set with home link for $100 shipped. There may be others, that's just the first ones I came across.

Personally I'd rather do it right for the time I had left owning it and it's really the right thing to do for the future owner too.

Thank you and I agree. I am not familiar with home link. Does it have to do with your garage door opener?

Yes, the HomeLink feature is the driver side visor has (3) buttons on it. The user chooses to marry (3) devices to those (3) buttons via a quick “programming”. So for instance if the owner has a garage door opener, (1) button can be programmed to open/close the garage door.

For some reason, some of the 2015-2017 models had either shorter range of the signal, or an issue with the HL feature - as many early threads about HL or the programming of it were topic of user frustrations with the feature. The 2018+ HL feature seems to have not only greater range, but also easier capture of the programming.

From what I’ve seen on here, apparently the HL feature wasn’t available on the Euro S550’s.

This may work for the Euro models without the visor HL feature:

Here’s a thread if wanting to add the HL visor to a US spec S550 that didn’t have it:
