V6 Exhaust Setup (BBK Shorties, SVE X-Pipe, Roush Axlebacks)

Thought I would contribute to this thread since I just wrapped up my exhaust install.

Installed the following parts:

- BBK Shorty Headers
- SVE 5.0 X-Pipe (with adapters for Autozone)
- Roush Axlebacks

Personally, I am really enjoying the sound, even with the rasp from the X-pipe. The results from this combination are way better than I was expecting and work just fine for driving around town or on the freeway without making ears bleed.

Here's a couple of videos:

Just had the Flowmaster Outlaws installed today. I was apprehensive due to the comments on here but I had no reason to worry. Its loud that is for sure but I have zero complaints at cruising RPM. I got to thinking after 2 fairly long drives today that drone is very subjective. To me its annoying wah wah wah wah sound almost like a vibration. I am just hearing the exhaust with the Flowmasters which is exactly what I wanted.
If you are trying to make a V6 or a 4 cylinder sound like a V8 you are always going to be disappointed. But if you take the V6 based on its own merits it can sound really cool. The 4 is harder to make sound good but it has other things going for it. (blow off valve etc)
So to me it is very livable at cruising RPM and sounds like a formula one car at WOT (kind of);)

Someone should try putting a Corsa Xtreme on a v6 :ford:
I'm surprised no one has done this yet well with the price lol I can see why. I want to put one on mine I currently have Gibson exhaust.

jperls, great sound and nice tips. Do those tips come on the Magnaflows or are they a separate add-on?

Tips are add-on by muffler shop. Mufflers are located near x-pipe after cats. To say I am pleased would be an understatement. I need a grinectomy...lol

So heres my current set up and I love it the way it is. Headers probably would improve it, but dealership says they wont touch it with shortys.

So its a:
Hearthrob H-Pipe
Magnaflow resonators after the H
Stock piping after resonators
Resonated Tips.

The setup is not bothersome inside, people love getting in my car now without having all that drone.
It doesnt sound like a work truck nor a rasp box.
You can hear the stock intake, induction, and exhaust. A perfect balance i believe.

Heres a selection of videos, each have different rpms, approaches, etc and are straight off the camera.
Youtube compresses things a bit, the sound difference from RAW to Youtube is the bass. This exhaust is a bit more deep in the RAWs
Run 1

Run 2

Run 3

Run 4

Im really thinking about getting an MBRP, my friends say too save my money and keep this setup.
But what do you guys think?
