Ever since those spyphotos of the mustang interior came to light, for some reason it reminded me of another car. What do you guys think?

Yea I think this may have been mentioned before. Your image is missing the similarity tho.... the push button start and toggle switches.

If they could give it a nice finish the ones on the S550 interior we saw could look really nice.

I think the interior looks like a 2-door Fusion
Or an Accord
Or a Tundra
Or a Genesis coupe
Or a .....
:p

Not seeing GT in it though, sorry. The GT has lots of round corners -- not to mention the 32 gauges and the high center tunnel plus lots of AL.

I am not saying the interiors look the same, just that the upcoming mustang interior borrows design cues from the Ford GT. I am comparing the previous mustang 2010-14 to the 2015 when I say this.

Can't say as I see it, other than the toggle switches.

Since Ford hasn't really touched that design aspect in a long time, and it isn't even really that close to the GT's interior switches... I have to think Ford borrowed the notion to use switches from Toyota and Nissan in the FR-S/BRZ and GT-R.

If you look closely those toggle switches do look like those in the Ford GT, plus they are made of aluminum and not plastic like those in the toyota. Ford has plenty of history and cars to be looking at toyota when it comes to designing their cars interiors. Either way you can see toggle switches in plenty of supercars, Ford GT included.
