Could have been a R32, but even with a 32 GTR they aren't that fast. 280hp back in 1989 was quite a bit though so I guess it's all relative.

And I'll never understand the love for the R34 (or 33, 32...)...bland, ugly products of the 90's. I'd rather have a done-up miata, at least they have character and a lot of potential.

Hey guys, I own both of these cars. I have a new S550 GT5.0 that is my daily and just love the thing. Also have an R35 GTR and stock all I can say it is just damn quick from a dig or roll. The car is still pretty impressive considering how old the platform is now.

I have upgraded it quite a bit, it's hard to stop once you start. Current the car is an Alpha 9 = 850whp on a mustang awd dyno. This is low horsepower in the GTR community.. Seems silly. This combination still allows me to do HPDE's and is not overkill

I know visual appearance is a subjective measure, but they have plenty of character and potential

The RB26 is also fantastic sounding powerplant

It's also guaranteed to grab everyone's attention at car shows

R32 is legal for import as they are over 25yrs old now. A guy at my job has a white one. I'd buy an R34 if I could but still a few years until the 25yr rule comes into play.
