slowest stock pass i ever made on my A10 hellcat non redeye was 11.2 126mph on stock rubber and 11.1 127mph best stock on mickeys 10.7 130mph fastest stock A10 18 PP 11.8s 119mph .. its not going to be close especially with a heavier convertable ..

I thought automatic Hellcat are still A8?

you wont beat or outbrake him on the street, on the track, or on mars, Youll get gapped as if youre standing still.
If you get the chance, take a ride with him. The surge you feel at heavy throttle is insane.

Just find a safe place with poor traction and a 55 mph speed limit. You might beat him to the speed limit.

You're better off going from a dig or slow roll but once he hooks you'll get freight-trained.
Standard Hellcat will gap you as well but can't hook from a dig or roll under 60 on stock all-season tires. The Redeye will be faster as it hooks better and traps a good 6-7 mph more than the Hellcat same day, same track from what I've seen.
If they are on drag radials it'll be over from any speed. I ran a best of 10.9 @ 126mph stock tune with 8-speed auto on just drag radials, 1.7 60ft DA 2000ish. Got more in her in better air and track prep. A Redeye widebody there ran a 10.6 @131 that day on stock tires...
Stock mustang guys that think they can hang with stock hellcats need to stop watching motortube videos
Its mostly about power to weight in a straight line but the hellcats have proven to be under-rated.
Anyway, love both cars, just keepin it real.

EDIT: I need to read as I though you had a stock 2018GT. A stock 2015 GT will need FI to keep up with or beat any hellcat...
