Ok so i figured out the oil smell....just got my stainless works 3 inch exhaust put on..sounds great...got a deal on a JLT intake and i need a tune to run it properly....can i use a regular sctx4 with canned tunes or should i go with the sctx4 with the vmp tunes?...and with that calibrate for my exhaust too?

One other thing. Members are going to know what your looking in a tune before recommending canned vs. custom. Same goes for the tuner.

No the canned tunes are programmed for the stock maf diameter.

You need a tune because the maf will sense that the intake speed has slowed down and make your car run like crap. Kind of like unplugging one of your vacuum hoses.

Get a 250.00 lund tune or 200.00 pbd and send them the datalogs that will fix u up right

Either the SCT X4 or the Ngauge will work. I would personally got with the Ngauge especially right now since Palm Beach Dyno is having a 150 dollar off sale on their tune and Ngauge package. Can't beat that deal!
