So I went under my GT yesterday for the first time to install a BMR Driveshaft safety loop. Things are TIGHT under there!

At any rate, when I was looking for jacking points, it appears this car has black powder coated subframe connectors?? (Its brand new)

Is that normal?

Yes The Mustang has had Bolt on subframe connectors since 1999. I would not recommend using them as a jacking point. they are thin walled tubing and will bend easily.

Good to know! (Thankfully they didn't bend; held everything fine).

What should we be using for jack points?

Thanks for your help! Been out of muscle car scene for about 10 years. SoOOO much to learn/catch up on.

Ford uses the pinch weld at the rocker for jacking. There are notches in the front and the back for the factory jack to fit. You can also use that spot for a floor jack.
