I ran a 12.49 and a 12.55@113 stock Back to back. Disclaimer-the DA was about -1800 or so on that run. In late October at Atco. And that was with a 1.8 sixty.
I bet if you check your DA. you’re probably in the +2500 range on your run.
Amazing 1/4mile times for a stock car.
Thanks for sharing.

Density Altitude, air temp, and track prep make an easy 2-3 tenths and mph difference on a 13.0 car.
Best time tonight was a 12.94 @ 109.5. DA was 2444.

That’s an extremely good time. If you go back to the drag times DA calculator. They have a correction factor below where you typed in your original information for last night. Your correction for sea level is probably somewhere in the 12.5-12.6 range.

Updated times. Ran in December. It was 50 degree night. Best time prior to this night was a 12.94 @ 109. Nothing has changed other then i the weather. Still need tires.

Now my question is would a custom tune benefit me more then the canned tune that came with the SCT X4?

90 degree night : 12.94 @ 109 / 2.09 60 ft
50 degree night : 12.57 @ 111.31 / 1.98 60 ft

I would say yes. Mine is a 2016 GT Convertible (4085 lbs with a full tank and me in it) with an auto and 3.15 gears. I have a JLT CAI, MBRP Muffler and Resonator Delete and have an E85 tune and ran recently in Houston (I am in Katy.)

It was 48 degrees outside and I ran:
[email protected]/2.21 60 ft

The stock 235's don't like to hook for crap. I have tried the "zombie stomp," ease in, launch at 1800 rpm, etc. and it is a fine line before roasting them. I figure with a tire and launching hard I can get my 60's into the 1.8's.

1.8s on a tire should be no issue. Tires made a huge difference for me. Not just in the launch but through the 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 shifts. On stock wheels/tires in drag mode, with adv track off, I logged my run and torque management was still affecting my run during the shifts due to traction loss. On stock tune, drag mode, adv track off, on DRs, there wasn't a hint of torque management that I could see in the log. Went from 2.0 60' to 1.85.

I'm in Katy too. Making the long trek to HRP tomorrow night to take advantage of cooler weather.

Nice, I was actually thinking about heading out to the track tomorrow myself instead of just using the Dragy.

How strict do they seem to be with enforcing having a roll bar on convertibles? I am wondering if it is worth the chance to go all the way to HRP or just go to HMP.

I'm not sure but last few times I have been there, they didn't seem to check anything. I have a couple tho. I have a buddy who LS swapped a V6 Mustang with fender exit exhaust and they didn't even pop his hood during tech.
