Helping a friend with a 2015 GT non PP mt82 car who just installed a ProCharger kit. A few years back he added in the Performance gauges and all has worked fine (enabled by Lund). He didn’t modify the switch for the oil pressure or wiring, all he did was install the wiring behind the dash and after a tune update it’s worked fine all this time.

He is now tuned by Lund for his ProCharger and no matter what configuration they have done in the tune he either has :

1. no dash gauge but normal readout on IPC
Or
2. low oil pressure on the IPC screen but great oil pressure (that does fluctuate as normal) on the PP gauge.

they told him now that they’ve tried every combo and it’s not working so it’s on his end, but prior to uploading the Lund tune everything worked fine! (Not sure what vmp manipulated)

after some digging I realized his IPC had way more stuff in the gauge details that I don’t have on my 2017 GT PP. he had vac/boost, trans temp, and oil pressure in addition to the normal stuff (voltage, afr, oil temp, iat, and cht). The IPC was almost like had had an automatic ecoboost.

I was able to change the as built in data to remove the trans temp, boost, but I can’t figure out how to remove the oil pressure line. my performance pack only reads oil temp on the dash and oil pressure on the gauge, it doesn’t say oil pressure on the dash, so I’m wondering if that’s apart of the problem.

anyone know what line I need to manipulate and what value I need to have for this car?

picture 2 is his car after I removed boost and trans temp reading.

thank you

Alright so I figured out (after much digging) the lines to change to get his IPC to match my 2017 performance pack, however it still has low oil pressure on the digital display (25 idle, plenty under load on the PP gauge).

like I said earlier I know Lund claims they’ve now tried every combo through the revisions to get both the gauge working and the dash light off (so far it’s been either or), but I have to assume this is a tuning issue correct? What else would be causing this?

prior to the blower install the gauges were working fine the last 2 years with his NA Lund tune. Nothing has changed in forscan or with gauges or sensors in relation to this install. But if his dash gauge is showing healthy oil pressure that fluctuates with load (values fall in normal range) why would the car be prompting low oil pressure on the dash (especially considering one remedy attempt turned off the warning it just killed the gauge)?? It couldn’t be actually low if the gauge indicates otherwise correct?

now that I fixed his IPC I’m going to have him flash all 6 or so revisions Lund tried to resolve the gauge issue to see if any combos restore prior functionality (and document what revision does what)!!

if not I’m going to figure out whatever revision gave him no warning light and a dead gauge and install an actually oil pressure gauge. It’s not preferred but worst case that is the only work around to not have warning lights. Just seems strange that this suddenly “isn’t working”
