So base GT w/PP does not get selectable driving modes. Let's hope we can change that with a tune.
lol Not possible via a tune if listed under "mechanical"

Black Wheels

Sorry, but in the PP, I am just not a fan of black painted wheels. Much prefer machined aluminum (the 2013-2014 Boss LS wheels are perfect).

We can only hope on the GT350.

V6 has really been dumbed down, they are clearly pushing the Ecoboost. No V6 premium package, no performance package, very few options... was seriously considering (if I skip the 2014) going with a V6 2015, but it appears they are really only positioning the V6 for the rental car market :(.

Great. As I feared. Cant get the performance pkg without the ugly (IMO) black wheels.

So, performance package for Ecoboost forces to get black wheels always?? WTF. Though, 67 E wheels do not appear as such...

There will be plenty of wheel options in the aftermarket which most do anyway.
Nothing against you personally of course, but it ticks me off when people respond with "aftermarket" this or that. Especially when the blanket statement of "which most do anyway" is used. I would bet that "most" do NOT go with aftermarket wheels.

I want to finance my preferred wheels and choices, not pay out of pocket to get what I want.

So Ford's packaging decision really irritates me, and as I can see, others as well.

Thanks for the info! I see I can't have everything tho.
1. 20" wheels with summer tires only, not great for Chicagoland.
2. 3.55 rear not available with a convertible.
3. I don't see Brembo brakes as a separate option.
Sigh, oh well, I'm ready to jump in! :headbang:

Here it is.

Damn!

And it looks to me like ecoboost PP got the nicest wheels, I love those. Too bad am I reading it right if you buy a GT with PP you are forced to take those black wheels? argh.

The redline color which we first saw at the reveal in China was only listed under
Recaro. I sure hope it is offered in the normal seat trim. Hate to drop Recaro seat prices for that redline

Looks like Redline is only red stitching and not the actual color of the surface material.

I'm most annoyed by the GT PP wheels. I don't dislike the black wheels, but damn those 20s looked so good on the DIB GT I saw in person.

If the 19x9s fit the 6-piston Brembo's then it shouldn't be an issue.
