Hello Fellow Mustang Owner:
These Ford Performance M-18183-M strut mounts were purchased new. However, the struts that were eventually purchased came with adjustable mounts…so these were never installed. It was too late to return them, so now I am offering for sale at a discounted price of $100 (was $105).
Note: these are the same strut mounts Ford Performance sells with their handling kits and are now STANDARD on all 2016-2021 Mustangs. They feature an increased bushing durometer compared to the base 2015 Mustang and can be substituted when replacing their softer, original mounts. The ride is not affected.
With the increased durometer, noises or banging from worn strut mounts can be eliminated and handling restored to factory specs. Or, if you are purchasing aftermarket springs and struts, these can be installed prior to mounting on the car…saving you time and hassles!
I am including 2 strut mount nuts, Ford #W715135-S450 for attaching the mounts to the strut. I will only charge for the actual shipping costs for sending a box weighing 4 pounds.
