No typewriter tick, doesn't burn oil. Have not fixed one thing, Never babied.
Only tires, brakes and fluid changes.
My 2020 PP2 burns a little oil and has more engine noise but nothing out of the ordinary, only 5000 miles on her.

Did a Ford dealer give you the parts to DIY? Or were the parts cheap enough to avoid risk factor of dealer possession of car?

There was a Ford dealer employee who claimed there are provisions in the warranty for owners to get parts for DIY if diagnosed or recall. He's long gone from the forum though. And dealers obviously don't want that to happen because they won't get paid for labor.

I notice you mentioned camera. I understand the original recall was just related to wiring but the latest replaces the camera and cable. If you did it yourself, were you forced to replace the camera because the new cable doesn't work with original camera or was a new camera worth buying if all was done on your dime.

I used commercial door security wiring butt style connectors where the trunk lid camera wiring was pinched. I decided to replace the camera thinking it might of taken a hit also. Mine failed before the ford recall came out. Wish i had waited till that happened. Now i hear the mini circuit board in the camera is failing because of bad solder welds.

Yeah, I'm still trying to get the latest info on it. My camera and cable seem to be fine, but I rather be ready and correct any issue now before it breaks. Plus I rather do all the work myself.

Just to add to the list...

Owned car since 2015.

1) Basic -
-52k miles
-Used to be daily driver, then a few days a week car, and now road course car and occasional weekend/trip.
-Only mechanical issue I've had is a rear main seal leak at 48k miles. Car has been very solid and reliable including for track duty.
Driver-side rear diff bushing also started to split some. I believe this started after I started tracking the car. I added whiteline bushings to help with this.

2) A/C System -
-No A/C issues at all yet.

3) MT82 -
-No real issues. I did experience some tougher than normal shifting from 4th to 5th at VIR. I replaced shifter with an MGW and no further problems; very smooth shifting now.

4) 6R80 -
--

5) Engine -
- Oil consumption issues? No oil consumption at all.
- VCT issues? None
- Intake (IMRC) issues? None
- Water pump issues? None
- Timing system issues (chain, guides, etc.) - None
- OPG issues? None
- If engine has been replaced, why? Original engine.

6) SYNC -
I got rid of SYNC entirely and run an android radio.

7) Paint/Corrosion -
Any issues with hood (rust, corrosion or peeling)? None
Any issues with corrosion in drainage channels at front windshield or rear window? None

8) Has anyone tried to add the 2018+ Active Exhaust?
Negative

Its possible Ford will reimburse for repairs done before the recall. If so, they might hand you a new camera.
