Congrats on your R model order!

I ordered exactly the same car/color in another province near you except without the Electronics Package.

Don't get your hopes up on getting a VIN anytime soon but I hope that I am wrong.

Start up production is probably at least a month away but if Mother Nature cooperates in Michigan we could see an earlier start up. If it stays cold all of the R's will continue to be pushed out further.

When you get a VIN let me know and it will be interesting to see what our chassis numbers will be?

I wish I had an R, but I have no intention of parting with my GT350 now that I'm closing in on 1k miles. What a kick ass car!!

Got the text from the dealer. Looks like I will be flying out Wednesday to drive her home from Oklahoma ... excited would be an understatement.

PS: Not thrilled with the way it was loaded, but can't say I am suprised.

Just an FYI (many of you may know this), Performance Ford in Randolph, NJ has 2 Shelby's in their showroom. I only briefly looked and don't have all details, but overview is one is new, white with the blue stripes, $65k 'ish (includes $10k ADM). Second is orange, used, 1300 miles, around $63k (more options than the white one, also includes a 10k ADM). I'm ordering a 2016 GT from them and will be there from time to time if any one would like pics, etc.

Wasn't me. I just picked up my 2016 GT350 from them the other week and they told me about their 2017 numbers on Saturday.
As to the R's ADM, I am sworn to secrecy. But it really wasn't that much. Quite reasonable.

Got a '17 R ordered today. Thanks to a friend! I've made hundreds of emails and calls. The only ones that would give me an msrp deal where ones that wouldnt get one for certain. Found one with a liveable adm...so I guess I'll sit back and watch it unfold. I do however have one msrp deal that COULD happen still...we'll see.
